1. PATH does not contain java reference

If PlantDesigner does not start, check the java path. Go to System Properties and click the Advanced tab. Select Environment Variables.

Add the java bin directory to your PATH. Restart computer.

Finally add your java to applications allowed to communicate through Windows Defender Firewall.
